Q1 2021 Performance of Interactive Story Games on iOS in France

Sensor Tower's data reveals the performance of the top five interactive story games on the iOS platform in France for the first quarter of 2021. Here's how these narrative-driven apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Chapters: Interactive Stories saw its revenue fluctuate across the quarter, with peaks of around $51K and lows near $38K. The game's downloads spiked at nearly 12K in mid-January before settling to around 7K towards the end of March. Weekly active users hit a high of over 52K in late January, with a slight decrease to approximately 42K by the quarter's end.

Time Princess: Dreamtopia experienced a revenue high of nearly $20K in early March but dipped to around $6K by late March. The app's downloads started strong at 43K but saw a decline, ending at about 8K. The weekly active users also saw a downward trend from 53K to around 26K.

Tabou Stories®: Love Episodes showed a revenue of $16K in early January, which decreased to roughly $8K by the end of March. Downloads peaked at around 14K but fell to just over 2K. The app's weekly active users started at 44K and saw a decrease to approximately 15K.

Romance Fate: Story Games had its revenue rise to $14K in mid-January but then dropped to about $6K. Downloads saw a high of 4.3K, with a decline to just over 1K. Weekly active users showed a similar trend, from 11K down to around 7.4K.

Love Sick: Stories & Choices revenue started at $16K, with a decrease to nearly $3K by the quarter's end. Downloads began at over 10K, ending the quarter at less than 1K. Weekly active users saw a significant decrease from 19K to just under 5K.
